All of the following procedures can be performed in our fully accredited office-operating suite or in the hospital. Our office operating area is accredited by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities Inc. and is inspected regularly in order to maintain that accreditation. The surgical suite and recovery areas are staffed by registered nurses to ensure the highest quality of care.

Dawn Goldsmith, a Certified Nurse Anesthetist will give your anesthesia. She graduated from the University of Kentucky (Dean's List) with a Bachelor of Nursing in 1978. She received her Certificate of Anesthesia from the University of Texas Health Science Center Nurse Anesthesia Program if 1982. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA), Texas Association Of Nurse Anesthesia (TANA), and has an Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Life Support Certification. She has administered anesthesia for 18 years and has been working with Dr. Lerman for the last 8 years. If you prefer, an Anesthesiologist (M.D.) will give you your anesthesia. Surgery can be performed under general anesthesia, local anesthesia, or intravenous sedation.
